Meet the heart of Salsa Latin Bistro.
Ray was born in a small village in Oaxaca, Mexico. As a kid he always had big dreams and at a young age he learned that hard work and dedication would take him far. Ray came from a humble background, which led him to start working at the age of 15 years old at his father’s butcher shop. 

He began his culinary journey after he graduated High School in Brooklyn, New York. There he developed a passion for cooking and knew that in the world of culinary there was growth and opportunity.

While Ray was working at Dos Caminos restaurant in Manhattan, he had the great opportunity of

attending the Culinary Tech Center. During his time attending this institute, he learned discipline, leadership and artistry.

With 20 years of experience Ray has concurred many flavorful dishes from various parts of the world. Ray learned to dominate traditional American, Italian and Mexican cuisines with New York style. 

When fabricating the menu for Salsa Latin Bistro he made sure that every dish was created with traditional Latin techniques with modern cooking methods.
